Kafka Parables

KafkaFest
New York, NY, 2010

Kafka's stories come to us in shards and fragments. If his writings are parabolic, they are mutations of that literary form; they function allegorically, yet remain forever elusive. This collage-like work was a glimpse of the author's searches, martyrs, and terrors, which are ours as well. Inspiration was drawn from the stories, unfinished novels, and biography of the author.
